The Building Process
At RJ Hill Homes we understand that building process of constructing a new residential home, luxury home or new unit build can be a large undertaking. The building process can be daunting. That’s why we outline our building process in easy to understand steps and include regular communication via phone and email and time-frame updates so you always know what’s happening with your project. Once we have an agreed design & budget to work with we can begin.
Stage 1
Ideas and comcepts. We discuss your ideas, concepts and budget for building your new home.
Stage 2
Contract and specifications. Your design details and specifications are finalised before construction begins.
Stage 3
Building permit & colour selections. Choose your colours after we’ve received the permit.
Deposit
This stage signifies applying and receiving insurance as well as a building permit.
Base
Clearing and preparing the site, installing drainage systems, slab preparation and concreting.
Framing
This stage involves the preparation of timber frames and roof trusses, as well as windows.
Lock-up
This is where we enclose all externals such as facias, gutters, brickwork and wall cladding.
Fixing
Here we install electricals, heating, cooling, plumbing, insulation, wall and ceiling lining, carpentry, skirting and fit-outs.
Completion
